The Alliance of Radical Booksllers is pleased to announce that submissions for the 2022 Little Rebels Award for Radical Fiction are now OPEN!

2022 marks ten years of the Little Rebels Award, and we are pleased to welcome three new judges: author-illustrator and activist, Emily Haworth-Booth, reading development and children’s book consultant, Jake Hope, and Reflecting Realities author, Farrah Serroukh. They join Shaun Dellenty and Gays The Word bookshop manager, Jim MacSweeney. Read more about our guest judges here.
The shortlist will be announced in April 2022 and the winner’s ceremony is expected to take place in July.
